Michael Berg is the Managing Attorney of our Criminal Law Division. He has been practicing law since 2010. Mr. Berg began his career as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida's Nineteenth Judicial Circuit. He prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies in Martin and St. Lucie counties.
In 2012, he became an Assistant Public Defender in the Nineteenth Circuit and defended the rights of those accused of crimes in Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties. He defended juvenile, misdemeanor and felony offenses. He currently represents clients in all aspects of criminal defense and employment law such as employment discrimination.
From 2013, Mr. Berg has been in private practice defending clients all throughout Florida. He has conducted dozens of trials and has handled thousands of cases including driving offenses, DUIs, theft offenses, drug crimes, violations of probation, violent offenses, federal offenses, and much more.
He received a B.A. from American University and a Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law.
