Matthew A. Rabin is the head of our Central Florida offices. He is an A.V. rated trial attorney with over 10 years of experience. Prior to becoming associate attorney at Reifkind, Thompson & Rudzinski, LLP, Mr. Rabin was in-house trial counsel for Chubb Florida Insurance Company. His extensive experience as a trial attorney representing insurance companies defending personal injury cases, (including products liability, property damage, condominium disputes, employment claims, American with Disability Act Claims, Fair Debt Collection Practices) gives Mr. Rabin a unique insight into the defense tactics of insurance companies and their defense attorneys and makes him an extremely important component of our firm’s mission and continued success in uniquely strategizing cases, from inception through litigation, whether the case is settled out of court or ultimately results in a trial by jury.
Mr. Rabin achieved his undergraduate degree from Florida State University, earning a double major in Political Science and History, graduating cum laude (top 15% of his class).
Upon graduating FSU, Mr. Rabin received his Juris doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University, where he also graduated Cum Laude (top of his class).
Mr. Rabin was born in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, and has lived in the South Florida since 1992, where he attended Cooper City High School.
In his leisure, Mr. Rabin enjoys playing tennis, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Rabin is licensed to practice law in all Florida State Courts, the South District of Florida (Federal Court), Middle District of Florida (Federal Court) and the 11TH Circuit Court of Appeals (Federal Court).
Mr. Rabin is AV Rated by Martindale Hubble and achieved notoriety in 2010 as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
