Michelle McGhee is an associate attorney in the Worker's Compensation division of RTR Law. Ms. McGhee has a diversified legal background in Worker's Compensation litigating cases from inception through mediations, and Final Hearings, throughout the State of Florida. Ms. McGhee understands how frustrating and daunting a work injury can be to her clients and works hard to diligently advocate on their behalf and put them at ease.

Prior to joining RTR Law, Ms. McGhee began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney, where she prosecuted thousands of cases. During that time, she gained a tremendous amount of trial experience on a multitude of different criminal cases.

Prior to law school, Ms. McGhee worked as an Officer on an oil tanker based on the West Coast of the United States and in Asia. She is an active member of the United States Merchant Marine.

Ms. McGhee was born and raised in New York. She obtained her B.S. from SUNY Maritime College. She earned her J.D. from Florida International University, where she was a Dean's List student and received the Pro Bono Service Award.

Ms. McGhee resides in Fort Lauderdale with her fiance, dog, and cat. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and all things outdoor related.
