Stefan-José Garcia is an associate attorney at RTR Law focusing on personal injury, with a focus on Plaintiff Personal Injury Protection. Mr. Garcia has dedicated his practice towards ensuring that medical providers treating car accident victims receive proper compensation for their services from insurance companies that choose to underpay them or deny payment entirely.
The son of immigrants from Trinidad & Tobago, Mr. Garcia joined the Florida Bar in 2015, and immediately began work as an associate of Plaintiff PIP Department in a small, but focused, personal injury law firm where he gained valuable experience in every aspect of litigation. He later co-founded a firm of his own operating in the State of Kentucky, where he is also licensed to practice law. Mr. Garcia has successfully litigated thousands of cases throughout his legal career. In addition to personal injury, he has experience in property law and has represented both Plaintiff and Defense.
Mr. Garcia graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida with two bachelor’s degrees: one in Political Science and the other in Economics, as well as a minor in Business Administration. Mr. Garcia earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he graduated cum laude. During his time at the University of Florida, he participated in Moot Court and received an award for Best Brief in the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Intramural Competition.
Mr. Garcia currently resides in South Florida where he enjoys travel, writing, and any other activities that broaden his horizons.
